What MWS does

A purpose-built seal for continuous wire processes.

An MWS unit fits into an applicator or process tube so a moving wire can pass through the boundary into a liquid bath. The seal is supplied without a tip opening, so the end user can make the opening suited to the wire and process.

A small component in a larger coating line.

MWS seals the wire entry at an applicator bath. The broader continuous-coating line may include wetting, primer, drying, baking and sintering stages.

Supports wire entry into an applicator bath containing liquid dispersion.
Can be used at both ends of a heated chemical treatment tube.
For low-viscosity, water-based PTFE dispersion, a free-meniscus coating approach may be more appropriate than a metering die.
